February 5, 2014 -Adways made an announcement of the investment in gumi, an entertainment content provider producing a great number of major hit games.
gumi, head quartered in Tokyo is an entertainment content provider for smartphone and feature phone launching a great number of longtime seller games such as “Ninkyo-dou” and “Dragon Genesis” in Japan. Their latest RPG game BRAVE FRONTIER developed by gumi’s consolidated subsidiary Alim was released in Japan, Asia and the U.S. and has became one of their big titles. As of January 2014 in three major app stores (AppStore, GooglePlay and Amazon Android) its total number of users reached 2 million in Japan and another 1 million outside of Japan.

Adways is aggressively expanding its smartphone CPI adnetwork service “AppDriver” and advertising effectiveness measurement tool “PartyTrack” in fast growing Asian markets. Mobile online game business of gumi that is aiming to become the world’s No.1 provider of social games and Adways’ mobile adnetwork and its further expansion of smartphone business is highly expected to create a great synergy.
