ADWAYS DEEE and BASE have partnered on "BASE Partners" to begin providing regional support services specializing in supporting domestic producers

ADWAYS DEEE Inc.(Head Office: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Takamasa Tamura), a subsidiary of Adways Inc.(Head Office: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo,CEO: Sho Yamada), has signed an official partnership agreement with BASE Partners and BASE Inc. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Yuta Tsuruoka). Following this agreement, we will collaborate with BASE, an online shop creation service operated by BASE Inc., to begin offering a local support service that specializes in supporting producers in Japan's primary industries, covering everything from setting up online shops to delivery.

ADWAYS DEEE has had extensive exposure to the efforts and challenges of Japan's "primary industries" through its initiatives with local governments and the operation of local information dissemination media.

Particularly in the circulation of agricultural products, while digitalization and optimization of logistics has gradually progressed, there are a number of challenges remaining; so-called "2024 logistics problem," driver shortages, erroneous orders due to transactions conducted over the phone or fax, and the burden of collecting payments for direct shipments from producers due to the lack of progress in paperless and cashless.

In order to respond to these market challenges and needs, we have partnered with "BASE" to utilize the Adways Group's know-how, human resources, and systems to provide regional support services that are more specifically tailored to supporting producers.

"BASE" is an online shop creation service that anyone can use easily. As of October 2024, it is used by over 2.2 million online shops across Japan. By signing an official partnership agreement with "BASE Partners (*1)," ADWAYS DEEE is now able to provide consistent support to producers who wish to enter the e-commerce business and who have concerns or issues, from setting up an online shop using "BASE" to product inventory management, packaging, and delivery after receiving an order.

*1"BASE Partners" is the official partner program for "BASE," started in October 2020. Companies, organizations, and sole proprietors who participate as partners in "BASE Partners" will provide support to shop owners in setting up online shops using "BASE."

ADWAYS DEEE's EC site management business will continue to promote collaboration and cooperation with local governments, producers, and companies across the country, to contribute to the development of the market.
