JS Adways partners with Taiwan FamilyMart to enter the Retail Media Network (RMN) field

JS ADWAYS MEDIA INC.(Head Office: Taipei, CEO: Jason Yang), a subsidiary of Adways Inc.(Head Office: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo,CEO: Sho Yamada), has partnered with Taiwan FamilyMart to start a business utilizing the Retail Media Network (RMN).

RMN refers to a network-based advertising media platform service that bundles together three types of retail media: on-site advertising (company apps, retailer websites), in-store advertising (in-store digital signage, etc.), and off-site advertising (digital advertising delivered by linking purchasing data with advertising IDs).

In recent years, RMN has continued to rapidly expand its market share around the world, and expectations are high for new marketing solutions that utilize first-party data, with a wide range of new companies, from retailers to airlines and payment platforms, entering the market.

From the end of 2023, JS Adways has partnered with Taiwan FamilyMart, a major convenience store chain in Taiwan with more than 4,200 stores across the country, to begin working on new marketing initiatives using RMN. By combining channels such as app members, e-commerce site members, LINE official accounts, various social media, and in-store signage, it is possible to deliver advertisements to more than 18 million users.

RETAIL

Utilizing Taiwan FamilyMart's RMN, in June 2024, we provided marketing support for  the 618 Shopping Festival (a campaign period in the Chinese region that is held every year from June 1st to June 18th, during which large-scale discount sales are held), organized by "bibian,"  a cross-border e-commerce site operated by Taiwan's largest mail-order site, "PChome," that sells Japanese products.

By effectively utilizing the huge amount of traffic, making up for the shortcomings of mainstream digital media advertising in the market, and successfully expanding advertising reach and click-through rates, the number of visits to the Japanese product area of ​​"bibian" increased by more than four times during the period, helping to increase brand exposure and traffic.

JS Adways will continue to utilize Taiwan FamilyMart’s RMN to support the use of online and offline advertising, promote comprehensive marketing strategies, solve problems, and contribute to the business growth of advertisers.
