May 21, 2015 - Adways Inc. (Head Office: Shinjuku-Tokyo, CEO: Haruhisa Okamura) announced it became a sponsor for one of India’s largest accelerator program GSF M-ACCELERATOR.

Accelerator program is an entrepreneurship program that supports entrepreneurs of all stages for a certain period of time and accelerates the growth of world-class startups.
GSF-M- ACCELERATOR is a specialized accelerator program for innovative startups focused on mobile. It supports 8 startups that were selected from more than 500 applications from across the world with mobile growth hacking, mobile monetization and product strategy. Startups will go through a mentoring and coaching program for about 3 months in India, San Francisco, Germany and Singapore.

According to Indian Council for Research on International Economic. Relations (ICRIER), Indian app market is likely to reach US$626.23 million by 2016 which is four times larger than what it is today. Also along with the growth of market size, it is expected India will have 382 million smartphone users by 2016 as shown in the graph below.

Considering today’s smartphone market growth in India, Adways decided to strengthen its mobile business in India and became a sponsor for this accelerator program. Adways will continue to contribute to an expansion of the mobile industry in India by supporting the business of local app developers.
