February 26, 2015 - Established in 2012, subsidiary of Adways Inc. (Head Office: Shinjuku-Tokyo, CEO: Haruhisa Okamura), Adways Korea Inc. (Head Office: Seoul, CEO: Sunjin Lee) is pleased to announce it is an appointed marketing committee at Korea Mobile Game Association (KMGA) operated by the Government of the Republic of Korea. Adways Korea was chosen from over 500 registered members (companies).

In September 2010, KMGA (formerly known as MOCA, renamed KMGA on January 2015) was established for the purpose to secure the rights and interests of small and mid-sized mobile game companies and also to expand the industry.

DMC Media estimates Korea’s mobile advertising spending in 2015 will increase up to 127% from the previous year of 832.9 billion KRW (91 billion JPY) and expected to reach 1.06 trillion KRW (115 billion JPY) that will account for 33% of total online advertising expenditure in Korea (Korea DMC Media, January 2015).

Adways Korea will make the most of its wide experience and knowledge on mobile marketing to support business of Korean app developers through KMGA and will contribute to an expansion of mobile content marketing industry in Korea and also overall Asia.
